Kids' Birthday Party Venues in Fargo-Moorhead: What Ten Kids Actually Costs
Eleven venues, their published prices divided out per child, and — the part that decides it — what each price already includes.
The cheapest birthday party here is not the cheapest listing. It is the one where you are allowed to bring the pizza. Venues publish in three units that cannot be compared — a flat rate for a fixed headcount, a price per person, and a price per lane — so nobody has put them side by side. Divide everything to a cost per child at a ten-child party and, among the parties you can book today, the spread runs from $10 to $40. But that number on its own is misleading, which is why it never appears here without the column next to it: some prices include no food at all and some include the whole meal, so once you have fed ten children the gap narrows a long way. Every figure below was read on the venue's own party page on the date shown, and the published price is given alongside the division so you can check it.
Priced per person or per lane
The bill grows with the invitation list: priced per person, every child costs the same; priced per lane, every six children add another lane.
West Acres Bowling — basic lanesFargo
Priced per lane rather than per party, at six people to a lane, so ten children means two lanes. The Strike package at $80 a lane adds a large one-topping pizza, a pitcher of soda and themed table setup — which is the same $6 a head you would spend feeding them anyway. Note the deposit.

Priced per person, so $30 looks like a small number and still comes to $300 for ten. Each person gets five attraction tickets, a drink and a share of pizza. Reserve two days ahead, and note that outside food needs management's permission rather than being allowed outright.

West Fargo Parks — Veterans Pool, weekdayWest Fargo
West Fargo Parks says outright that you may bring outside food and non-alcoholic drinks, and that permission is worth more than the headline price: a $10-a-child party where you bring the pizza is still cheap once everyone has eaten. These are summer pool parties, and booking is closed for the season.

The cheapest shares the playground with the public and covers ten children, with ten more for $20; two packages add a pair of inflatables, and the dearest closes the playground to everyone but your party. Same outside-food permission as the pool parties. The booking site adds a fee of about $10 at checkout.

Three tiers by headcount — Fun covers 6 participants, Thrill 11 and Deluxe 15 — so a party of ten needs Thrill. Every tier runs 120 minutes and includes CitySocks and one pizza and one soda pitcher per five guests, so the food genuinely is in the price. A note on their own page says every party covers the birthday child plus nine guests, which does not match their tier table or their FAQ; the headcounts here are the table's. Outside food beyond a birthday dessert or a fruit or veggie tray costs a $50 fee, and every guest needs a waiver whether they are sliding or not.

One price covers a long guest list, so the cost per child falls with every guest you add: these look dear at ten children and much less so at twenty. Priced per person, the twentieth child costs what the first did, and priced per lane the cost per child barely moves — which is why the headcount you invite can matter more than the venue you pick.

A flat $400 for up to twenty guests, so the cost per child depends entirely on how many you invite: $40 each at ten, $20 each at twenty. It includes two hours in the museum with the run of the play area, two slices of pizza and a water bottle per person, a cupcake cake, an aviation goodie bag for every child, and a drone flying experience for all guests.

The Play Cafe Celebration is one flat rate for up to thirty children and sixty guests with no charge for siblings or extra kiddos, so the per-head figure keeps falling as the list grows: $27.90 at ten, $9.30 at thirty. You bring the food, the drinks and the décor; they supply the room, tables, chairs, a kitchenette, an ice machine and a TV or projector at no extra cost. A First Birthday package swaps the main play zone for an infant and toddler setup at a lower rate, and dearer tiers add entertainment choices and an on-site attendant.
